MEET THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Rich Billings:

Owner of Miss and Mr. Southern America
Rich has been involved with the artform of drag for over 25 years. During that time he captured the titles of Miss Charlotte America, Miss Mecklenburg County America, Miss Cabarrus County America and Miss Hickory America. Rich was the promoter of the Miss Mecklenburg County America pageant during the 2019-2020 year and won best promoter at Miss North Carolina America pageant. In 2021 he was awarded the Robins Award at Mr. Gay America 2021, and in 2022 he won best new promoter at Miss Gay America 2022.
He is excited to bring America pageantry back to Atlanta and to start a new chapter with Mr. and Miss Gay Southern America. Rich resides in Atlanta with his husband, Booker.
Booker Young
Co-Owner of Miss and Mr Gay Southern America
Booker started his career as a U.S. Army officer after graduating from West Point; since transitioning to professional services nearly 20 years ago, Booker is partner at his firm and leads a team of compliance advisors. Booker enjoys cooking, the deliciousness of bourbon, all things Janet Jackson, and tennis. He is so excited to be the co-owner of the Mr and Miss Gay Southern America with his husband Rich.
Finance Director, Robbie Davis – Johnson City, TN – Hailing from Whitesburg, TN, Robbie works in banking, insurance and investments in Johnson City.
Technical Director, Jay Drew, Atlanta, GA- A native of Philadelphia, Jay has lived in the Atlanta area since 1996. While he has never had any pageant experience in the past, he hopes to bring his talents to the Mr. & Miss Gay Southern America pageants for years to come. He wants to Thank Rich and the other members of the board for “dragging” him into the magical world of pageants.
Marketing Director, Noel Guilford, Atlanta, GA – Atlanta native and proud father or two. Background in training and development, with a passion for volunteering and philanthropy. New to the world of pageantry, but committed to the cause.
Operations Director, Ritchie Roark – Johnson City, TN – Ritchie grew up in Boone, NC. He is an accounts receivable/payable manager in Johnson City.
Compliance Director, Brian Schroeder – Atlanta, GA – Brian is a native of Miami, FL. He’s lived in the Atlanta area for 25+ years and enjoys a career in IT technologies. He is an avid drag fan and self-proclaimed groupie!
Artistic Director, Will Suit – Atlanta, GA – Will grew up in North Georgia, but has lived around Atlanta for more than 30 years. He owns a small music school near Atlanta and self-publishes original compositions. He’s excited to be involved with Mr. & Miss Gay Southern America!
