DeVida, the self proclaimed Broadway Belter of the Bible Belt is an education and mental health professional by day and a Broadway drag diva by night. DeVida is known for her live vocals, creative performances, and glamorous style. DeVida is the current Miss Gay Southern America, a former Miss Gay NC America and a former Miss Charlotte Pride. She is a tireless community advocate particularly in the areas of mental heath and HIV. When not performing or working, DeVida is happy to be at home with her husband of twenty five years and their ten year old son.
